Editorial Policy

How Toolquo approaches sourcing, independence, corrections, AI assistance, and commercial content.

Toolquo’s editorial policy is built around clarity, usefulness, transparency, and reader-first decision making.

Editorial independence

Editorial conclusions are based on the evidence and reasoning presented in the article. Payment, affiliate availability, or sponsorship does not guarantee favourable coverage or inclusion in a recommendation.

Sources and verification

For facts such as pricing, specifications, plan limits, and product availability, we prefer first-party sources such as official product pages and documentation. When third-party research or user experience is relevant, we treat it as supporting context rather than a substitute for verifiable product facts.

Hands-on experience

Toolquo will not describe a product as tested or used hands-on unless that is true. Articles may combine direct experience with research, and the distinction should be clear to the reader.

Use of AI

AI tools may assist with research organisation, drafting, editing, or analysis. Editorial responsibility remains with Toolquo. Important factual claims, recommendations, and comparisons should be reviewed against appropriate sources before publication.

Corrections

If a material factual error is identified, we aim to correct it promptly. Software changes frequently, so an article may also be updated when the underlying product, pricing, or market has changed.

Commercial content

Sponsored content, where accepted, should be identified as such. Editorial articles and affiliate-supported articles remain subject to the same standards for factual accuracy and disclosure.
